1. Davido was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 21, 1992.
2. His father is a Nigerian billionaire businessman, Adedeji Adeleke while is mom, Vero who was a university lecturer is late.
3. Davido’s late uncle, Isiaka Adeleke was the first civilian Governor of Osun State in 1992 when Davido was born.
4. Davido’s uncle, Demola Adeleke is the current Senator-Elect representing Osun-west senatorial district in Nigeria.
5. Davido’s HKN mates, B Red and Sina Rambo, are his cousins being children of his uncle, Senator Demola Adeleke.
6. Davido attended the British International School in Lagos.
7. Davido started music as a teenager in America.
8. Davido’s debut single, ‘Back When’ which features Naeto C was well received and established him as an act to watch out for. He also reportedly paid Naeto C a sum of N1m to feature on the song. The song was recorded in London.
9. Davido’s first manager was Asa Asika is the cousin of Naeto C and Storm 360 boss, Obi Asika.

14. He signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria. On October 23, 2013, Davido partnered with Guinness Nigeria for the “Guinness World of More” concert.

22. He has also been involved in a well-publicized supremacy battle with fellow young star, Wizkid which till date is taking rapid toll on social media.
23. In March 2016, Davido signed Mayorkun and Dremo to his self-owned record label (DMW).
24. Davido welcomed his second child with American girlfriend in May this year. He named her Hailey Veronica Adeleke.
